The Southern Ontario Region of the Austin Healey Club of America was excited to host the 2009 Conclave in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, June 21-26, 2009. This event was a memorable one for everyone who attended.
Special Honored Guests
John Sprinzel, Ann Wisdom and her husband Peter Riley
John Sprinzel: is synonymous with the great Sebring Sprite racing cars and was a BMC race and rally driver in the 1960’s and former owner of John Sprinzel Racing Limited.
John has written a book called “Spritely Years” and is an entertaining guest speaker.
Ann Riley (Wisdom): is one of the most successful big Healey navigators. Debuting in the 1957 Italian Sestriere Rally with the first 6 cylinder rally car UOC741. Ann was the successful navigator to Pat Moss in international rallying. Ann and Pat won many trophies including outright victory in the 1960 Liege event and a Class win in the 1960 Alpine Rally. She Also took part in the 1959 Canadian Winter Rally with Pat Moss.
Peter Riley: is a former BMC works rally and test driver. Peter chalked up the 3000’s first International Class victory in the 1959 Liege-Rome-Liege rally and drove UJB143 (now DD300) with Jack Sears at the 1960 Le Mans.

There’s plenty to see or just take your car and get lost. This will be a wonderful get together and a great time to meet old friends and make new ones. Best of all – “it’s seeing all the wonderful cars we have come to enjoy and love”.
No matter what route you take to get here, the drive will bring you through some of the most historic and beautiful scenery. The St. Lawrence Valley runs from here to Quebec City. A great way to come is by way of Wolfe Island on the ferry.
Car events will include various rallies, Funkana, gymkhanas, and of course, the popularity car show. :
